ULTRAcel Q+ is a form of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), an effective non-surgical treatment that promotes collagen production, improving skin elasticity and minimising wrinkles.
ULTRAcel Q+ helps to reduce stubborn fat cells and tightens areas on the face with the additional benefit of reducing flushing and redness.
The ULTRAcel Q+ treatment works by delivering high frequency ultrasound waves, generated from a transducer into the tissue to produce heat at a focal point (HIFU). HIFU does not cause epidermal damage. It promotes collagen denaturation and regeneration by raising the tissue temperature.
You may feel some discomfort associated with the heat during treatment, however most clients tolerate this extremely well. Some mild tingling may also accompany this heat sensation, but these are temporary and will subside on completion of the treatment.
There is no downtime associated with ULTRAcel Q+ treatments! You can even get it done in your lunch break.
Your skin will feel firmer immediately after the procedure, however best results will be seen after 2-3 months once the newly created collagen has begun to mature. This process may continue for more than 6 months.
You will notice results from your first treatment, however for the best, long term results, a series of treatments will be required.
