A Fibrolift is a wildly popular non-invasive, skin lifting, tightening and rejuvenation device primarily used to treat wrinkles, and sagging, crepey skin.
Our trained staff use a Plasma Pen (not the same as the micropen) that converts electrical energy to electrostatic energy to create nitrogen; when placed 1mm from the skin, the nitrogen is mixed with oxygen to produce an arc of plasma which discharges onto the skin. This causes a micro-trauma to the skin’s epidermis (top layers) whilst simultaneously disrupting the dermis (deeper layers) via thermal conduction. This treatment is also known as fibroblasting, giving the name Fibrolift. Fibroblasts are the most common cells of connective tissue in the body that produce collagen.
This micro-trauma immediately stimulates the healing process, growing new cells and increasing the production of collagen in the area, in turn plumping, tightening and lifting the skin dramatically. In cases of mild to moderate skin laxity, a Fibrolift treatment can potentially be an alternative to cosmetic lifting surgery.
