Teeth Grinding or Bruxism
The dentist will often advise dental splint wearing to protect teeth and reduce symptoms.
Our medically qualified team led by Dr David Main, offers 20 years experience in the management of musculoskeletal problems. One of the most common problems we see in this area is bruxism – teeth grinding and clenching. This often occurs at night whilst asleep and results in tooth wear and sometimes tooth fracture, as well as jaw pain, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction, and headache. It is frequently associated with neck and shoulder pain problems.
